...ครุฑเมตตาบารมี เนื้อทองคำลงยาดำ สร้าง 15 องค์ ขนาดเส้นผ่าศูนย์หลาง ประมาณ 2.5 ซ.ม....หลวงปู่จื่อ พันธมุโต วัดเขาตาเงาะอุดมพร ชัยภูมิ เมตตา อธิฐานจิตให้... ...ที่มาของงานพุทธศิลป ครุฑเมตตามหาอำนาจ... ตามคติโบราณ ครุฑเป็นสัตว์เทพที่มีพลังอำนาจและความเป็นมงคล เสริมดวงและกลับเรื่องร้ายให้กลายเป็นดี บารมีแห่งองค์พญาครุฑผู้มีอิทธิฤทธิ์จะส่งผลให้ผู้บูชามีความเจริญรุ่งเรืองในชีวิต ข้าพเจ้าชื่นชอบสัตว์หิมพานต์เป็นอย่างยิ่ง โดยเฉพาะองค์พญาครุฑ ได้เห็นครูบาอาจารย์หลายท่านได้สร้างครุฑขึ้นมาอย่างงดงาม แต่อยากมีครุฑที่เป็นผลงานศิลปะในรูปแบบที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ของตัวเองจึงคิดออกแบบ ครุฑมหาอำนาจ ซึ่งถือได้ว่าเป็นสัตว์เทพผู้มีปัญญาเฉียบแหลมโดยสื่อความหมายทางการออกแบบโดยกำหนดให้องค์ครุฑมีกล้ามเนื้อที่มีอานุภาพและพละกำลังมหาศาล ปีกใหญ่แข็งแรง บินได้เร็ว สง่า ข้าพเจ้าออกแบบ โดยใช้รูปดอกบัว 8 ดอก อยู่บริเวณปีก ข้างละ 4 ดอก แสดงถึงบารมีและความดีงาม ครอบคลุมทั้ง 8 ทิศ ( มรรค 8) ส่วนเหนือเศียรครุฑ เป็นรูปพระพุทธเจ้าปางสมาธิ เพื่อให้สำนึกถึง พระพุทธคุณ เสนอคุณค่าของสมาธิ สติ นำให้เกิดปัญญา วงกลมรอบเศียรองค์ครุฑสื่อถึงแสงสว่างทางปัญญาที่ส่องสว่างทั้งกลางวัน กลางคืน (รูปวงกลม แทนดวงอาทิตย์แสดงถึงเวลากลางวัน ส่วนเบื้องบนเป็นรูปพระจันทร์เสี้ยวแสดงถึงเวลากลางคืน) ครุฑบางชุดมีการประกอบกระจกเข้าไปตรงวงกลมด้านหลังเศียรครุฑ แสดงนัยของการสะท้อนสิ่งชั่วร้ายให้ออกไป ถือว่าครุฑในชุดนี้มีความดีพร้อมถึงคุณค่าทางศิลปะที่มีความงามมากที่สุดเท่าที่จะทำได้และเป็นการสื่อความหมายเชิงบวกที่เป็นสิริมงคลยิ่งแก่ผู้ครอบครอง.... The Mighty Garuda In Thai mythology, Garuda is a powerful deity who brings propitiousness, fortune and turns bad things into good. The charisma of the Mighty Garuda with supernatural power will grant those who worship him a prosperous life. I always admire Himmapan creatures especially Garuda. I have seen many of my mentors created very fine Garuda arts and crafts, and I have always been wanting to produce my version of Garuda that possesses my signature pattern. I have, therefore, painted this Mighty Garuda, the intelligent deity, with impressive muscles to demonstrate that he is very powerful and incredibly strong. He also has massive wings that fly gracefully and with great airspeed velocity. There are eight lotus flowers attached to the wings, four on each side. While lotus is a symbol of charisma and goodness, number eight represents the Noble Eightfold Path (or Ariya Atthagika Magga) in Buddhism teachings. Above the head of the Mighty Garuda is a meditating Buddha statue, reminding us of the great virtues of the Buddha and his teachings on how meditation and consciousness bring wisdom. The circle around the head symbolizes the wisdom that shines brightly day and night (the circle represents the sun and the crescent above the circle represents the moon). Some art piece has a mirror installed in the circle behind the head. The mirror would reflex and turn bad things into good. This painting and Buddha images of the Mighty Garuda has artistic value at their best. They radiate positivity and grant auspicious blessing to owners.
